Match Preview

Mumbai City FC will hope to enter the top four in Indian Super League (ISL) 2019-20 points table when they face an eight-match losing NorthEast United FC on January 31 (Friday). Mumbai City beat defending champions Bengaluru FC in their last match at home but that was only the second game the Islanders managed to win at home in seven ISL 6 encounters. They have lost thrice in those seven matches.

Both sides scored two goals each in the first half and played-out a 2-2 draw in an earlier meeting in ISL 2019-20 and will be hoping to out-play each other when they meet at the Mumbai Football Arena. A win will take Mumbai to fourth place helping them displace Odisha FC to fifth. NorthEast United, on the other, are bottom from the second and need a victory to save their season and end the season with a couple of victories.

Probable line-ups:

Mumbai City FC: Amrinder Singh (GK), Valpuia, Mato Grgic, Subhasish Bose, Sarthak Golui, Diego Carlos, Mohamed Larbi, Rowllin Borges, Sourav Das, Amine Chermiti, Modou Sougou.
