New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) Four more men have been arrested in connection with the killing of two sisters at Ambedkar Basti in southwest Delhi's R K Puram area, police said on Friday.
The accused have been identified as Gautam (24), R Aman (22), Mayank (21) and Moses (38), they said.
Associates of the main accused, those arrested were allegedly involved in the Sunday firing aimed at killing the brother of the deceased, Lalit, over a monetary dispute, police said.
Till now, total nine people have been arrested in connection with the case. Three others, including the main accused, were arrested on Sunday. Two more men were held the next day.
Gunmen allegedly shot dead two women Pinky (30) and Jyoti (29) in the R K Puram area on Sunday. The women were shifted to Safdarjung Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, according to police.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the assailants were after the victims' brother.
Three accused — Arjun, Michael and Dev — were arrested in connection with the incident on Sunday. They are history sheeters and have been involved in gambling, police added. PTI AMP
