Chandigarh, Aug 15 (PTI) Rain lashed many parts of Punjab and Haryana on Thursday, bringing relief from humid conditions.

Pathankot in Punjab received 16 mm rainfall, followed by Patiala at 6 mm, Bathinda at 8 mm, Sangrur at 4 mm and Mohali at 2 mm, the Met office said.

Rohtak in Haryana recorded 21 mm rainfall, followed by Bhiwani at 16 mm, Narnaul at 13 mm, Jind at 9 mm, Panchkula at 7 mm, Hisar at 1.5 mm and Ambala at 0.2 mm.

Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, received 2 mm rainfall.
