Nation has still not come to terms with Sridevi's sudden demise. Just a few days before her shocking death, the netizens saw her smiling and giggling at a family wedding in Dubai. Just like all her fans, even veteran actor Dharmendra was stunned with the news. During a recent event, the Sholay actor remembered Sridevi on the occasion of her birth anniversary. Needless to say, he was quite emotional about the late actress and shared a few things about her.

He said, "She was a nice person. I feel so sad that she is gone so early. Now, when I look at her daughters. I am a very emotional person, I do get carried away with emotions. I did not have much interaction with her but I was close to Boney Kapoor. She was a good artist and she even used to bring home cooked food, what else can I say about her?"

This is not the first time that he became sentimental about the English Vinglish actress. Earlier too, he was quoted saying, "Boney was so close to me. They both used to come and touch my feet. I can't forget that. There are many details with me. I share the pain of the family. It was such an unexpected thing. Let's pray for her. And her family should be in peace."

Meanwhile, Dharmendra will be next seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se with Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead. The film recently dropped the trailer which is entertaining and filled with cameos of Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan and Rekha.
