Popular veteran Marathi TV actress Shubhangi Joshi passed away after a few days being ill. The 72-year-old actress suffered a brain stroke on Saturday, after which she got paralyzed. She breathed her last while she was in sleep. She was last seen in Marathi TV shows Kunku Tikli Aani Tattoo and Kahe Diya Pardes. Her daughter-in-law Sarita Joshi confirmed the news.
“Shubhangi Joshi passed away on Wednesday morning at 5.45 am. She suffered a brain stroke on Saturday, and she was hospitalised. But because of the stroke, she got paralysed. Her funeral will be held today at Oshiwara crematorium,” The Indian Express quoted Sarita saying.
She started her journey in the Marathi entertainment industry in 2002 with extremely popular show Abhalmaya. She then was seen in several serials and plays. Her fans and the entire industry were shocked with the news. We hope that the family and friends gain strength to cope up with this loss.
