The British Police on Tuesday thanked 'Friends' star David Schwimmer after arresting an alleged thief who was doppelganger to David Schwimmer's character Ross Geller from Tv sitcom Friends. Earlier, when the police posted a footage of lookalike stealing beer from the mall in the English town, the post went instantly viral. On account of the severe similarity, Schwimmer took to Twitter to clarify that it wasn't him stealing the liquor bottles.

"Officers, I swear it wasn't me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation. #itwasntme" Schwimmer tweeted. Police have carried out the investigations and found that Schwimmer was not guilty as he was in America on this date. Thief Looks Like Ross Geller and People Cannot Keep Calm While British Police Are on the Lookout.

Thank you for the support, especially @DavidSchwimmer!” Meanwhile, on a working front, the Friends star was offered to play his goofy character of Ross in a porn spoof of the Youporn's show, offering him one million dollars for the role.
