A black security guard Jemel Roberson was killed by the Chicago police following a dispute among the locals at the Manny’s Blue Room Bar. Roberson was trying to stop another man with a gun who was causing a ruckus after getting drunk. Kanye West has been deeply affected by the incident and decided to help Roberson's family by making a donation of $150,000. It was a tragic death of the 26-year-old security guard who left behind his wife, pregnant with their second child and a nine-month-old son. It was a shocking incident as despite the witnesses present at the spot tried to tell the police that he was the "good guy" they shot anyway. Adam Harris, a witness at the spot was quoted to a TV station, "Everybody was screaming out, ‘Security!’ ” Harris told WGN. “He was a security guard. And [police] saw a black man with a gun, and basically killed him." The incident brings further light on the situation of the "blacks." And Roberson was on the duty as he was working extra hours to earn enough money for his baby.

People have appreciated Kanye's actions on social media. Roberson's wife was devastated when she heard of the tragic news. He was just trying to save lives and instead ended up losing his. He was doing his job until the police would arrive for further action to be taken on the actual culprits. But soon as the police arrived, the incident only went for the worse. Some of the friends and family have called this "homicidal policing." The investigation on the case is being carried on.
