Nepal cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane sent to judicial custody until the final verdict on the case by a Kathmandu District Court. He was arrested by Nepal Police on October 6 in connection with the rape of a minor.
Nepal’s former Cricket Captain Sandip Lamichhane, accused of raping a minor has been sent to Kathmandu District Court. A single bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Ghimire sent him into judicial custody until the final verdict. His lawyers have requested a 12-year sentence as Kathmandu police are confident with the evidence. He was arrested by Nepal Police on October 6 in connection with the rape of a minor.
