Jharkhand pacer Varun Aaron is on the roll and has put up a stellar performance once again for his team against Haryana during the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2018-19. Speedster Varun Aaron played a vital role in helping Jharkhand to register the victory on the second day itself. The match was hosted at Chaudhry Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Lahli, Rohtak. In the first inning of the four-day-long format Varun snapped a couple of wickets and Haryana was bundled out on 81/10. Ajay Yadav got four wickets in the first innings and bowled at an average of 1.78. Jharkhand in reply also lost too many wickets and put up the score of 143 runs on the board.  The low scoring game was no less than a thriller. It was in the second inning, that speedster bowled magical spells and created a havoc in the Haryana camp. Aaron snapped six wickets, giving away only 32 runs. He bowled at the economy of 3.10 runs. Rahul Shukla got one wicket and Ajay Yadav got three wickets in the second innings and bowled at an economy of 3.10. As a result, Haryana got bundled out on 72 runs. At Rohtak: Haryana 81 and 72 lost to Jharkhand 143 and 12/1 by 9 wickets. At Bhubaneshwar: Odisha 256 all out versus Uttar Pradesh 361/6 (Aksh Deep Nath 151 batting, Rinku Singh 72, Basant Mohanty 3-44). Uttar Pradesh leads by 105 runs.
