Lucknow Super Giants have beaten Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in IPL 2025! This is their first win of the season and will give them a world of confidence! It was going to take a magnificent bowling effort from Sunrisers Hyderabad to chase this down but they were hit by the Nicholas Pooran storm, with the left-hander smashing 70 runs off just 26 deliveries. Mitchell Marsh also notched up his second consecutive half-century as LSG eventually won the match in 16.1 overs. Last year, SRH had made an absolute mockery of a 166-run chase, getting past the finish line in 9.4 overs. While all the talk was about Sunrisers Hyderabad potentially scoring 300 today, it was Lucknow Super Giants' bowlers who were superb right from the outset. Shardul Thakur led the top bowling effort for LSG with a four-wicket haul and the bowlers struck at regular intervals as Sunrisers Hyderabad did not gather much momentum.
