Team India’s dream run at the CWC 2019 came to a halt as they lost against New Zealand by 18 runs in the semi-finals at the Old Trafford Cricket Stadium in Manchester. However, after the loss, the Team Indians are left stranded in Manchester as the BCCI has failed to arrange tickets for the players for their respective destinations on an immediate basis. Which means the players will have to stay in England until the CWC 2019 ends. The players of the team are reported to take a break ahead of the tour to West Indies which is said to begin on August 3, 2019. Rohit Sharma Has a Heartfelt Message for Fans After Team India’s Exit From Cricket World Cup 2019, Says 'We Failed To Deliver When It Was Mattered'.

Just when the Men in Blue are trying to distract themselves from a disappointing loss at the CWC 2019, logistical issues crop up and this has further delayed Team India’s departure from England. A senior official of the BCCI on the condition of anonymity said, “Most of the boys will be in Manchester till July 14 and leave from there. Tickets are being booked after the campaign came to an end yesterday.”

Talking about the tour of West Indies, it is said that players like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah will be rested. All eyes will be on MS Dhoni who has remained tight-lipped about his retirement from international cricket. The fans are eager to know about the former Indian captain’s decision on his retirement after he returns from England.
