Rahul began his career in Kabaddi as a defender but came to be known as one of India's strongest raiders. With the likes of Fazel Atrachali, Saurabh Nandal, Surjeet Singh and the captain himself, Ashu is confident of replicating the success the franchise achieved in Season 8.

Speaking on JioStar, Rishank shared his thoughts on the upcoming final between Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi K.C and said that fans can expect another thriller. He also commented on the game, emphasising Puneri Paltan’s composure, teamwork, and strategic play and analysed the Qualifier 2 match between Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans.

Bharat Hooda, who carried on his sensational run in the tournament, scoring 23 points and also amassing 200 raid points for the season in the win against Pirates, also acknowledged the role of the senior players in the team. The duo of Vijay Malik and Bharat Hooda has been exceptional for the Telugu Titans this season.

Puneri Paltan began the second half in an ideal manner, inflicting a second All Out on their opponents, courtesy a tackle from Gaurav Khatri. Despite that, they trailed by two points with the duo of Bharat and Vijay ensuring that the Titans kept their noses in front. Bharat and Aditya exchanged Do-Or-Die Raids, with neither side giving away an inch.

Vijay Malik eventually tackled him, while Bharat continued to carry his team with a successful raid on Balaji D. For every point scored by the Pirates, the Titans always had an answer. Titans defender Ankit tackled Milan Dahiya, and then Bharat - who also completed 200 raid points this season - got touches on Ankit Kumar Rana and Deepak.

Dabang Delhi weren't ready to throw in the towel just yet, though. Neeraj Narwal's Super Raid on a do-or-die raid kept them in the game, with Ashu Malik also helping them cut the deficit to three points. Puneri Paltan did their best to keep them at arm's length, with Aditya Shinde completing his Super 10 and Aslam Inamdar also contributing.

The Bengaluru Bulls started the next phase positively, earning a couple of points through a strong Super Tackle that lifted their spirits. However, the Patna Pirates quickly regained control, with Deepak producing another well-timed tackle to shift the momentum in their favour.

The second half began in a sedate manner with the defenders making the first move. Ajit Pawar bagged a tackle for his side, while Sanjay did the same. Bengaluru Bulls upped the ante slightly with Aashish Malik's two-point raid, and they eventually got their noses in front as Satyappa Matti's tackle helped them execute their first all-out.

With a seven-point deficit, tackles from Vinay and Reza Mirbagheri along with Ali Samadi's raid helped the Pink Panthers stay in the game. However, Ayan and Milan Dahiya kept the scoreboard ticking with Ankit Jaglan also registering his second tackle, keeping the Pirates in a 13-6 lead after the first ten minutes.

Pro Kabaddi League 2025 is the 12th edition of the grand tournament. This season, 12 premium sides of the sport in India are fighting for the title. The Haryana Steelers started the match on a strong note, earning the first point through a brilliant tackle from Hardeep to take an early lead. They added another point soon after by claiming a bonus in the next raid, putting pressure on the Telugu Titans.

The one-way traffic continued in the second half with Bengaluru Bulls well in front in this contest. Sanjay and Aashish Malik registered tackles before Phool Chandra did the same for Bengal Warriorz. Himanshu Narwal also did his best to try and close the gap, but there was no respite from the Bulls.

Dabang Delhi showed some fightback as Akshit produced a brilliant effort to earn two points, cutting the deficit to 12-15. However, Ayan once again stepped up for the Pirates, securing another point with a confident raid to keep his team ahead.

The evening held special significance for Chaudhari as his former team, Telugu Titans, was in action. Rahul Chaudhari was particularly impressed with Telugu Titans' journey this season. The new playoff format, which sees eight teams qualifying instead of six, has intensified competition.

In a cagey encounter, Ayan and Alireza exchanged blows with both raiders scoring seven points in the first half. The former ensured that his team held a three-point lead at halftime, with the score at 16-13. Patna Pirates started the second half in an aggressive manner, taking the onus to put the pressure on their opponents.

Shivam Patare also proved to be a menace for the Yoddhas, with Sahil Narwal ensuring that their defence didn't let their guard down. Rahul Sethpal made that early pressure count, executing a brilliant tackle to inflict the first all-out of the game, giving his side a 12-5 lead.
