Chandigarh, Aug 3 (PTI) Two employees of the Haryana transport department have been dismissed from services after their educational certificates were allegedly found to be fake.
Rakesh Gupta, the additional principal secretary to chief minister; and Bhupeshwar Dayal, the officer on special duty (OSD) to CM; directed the dismissal of these employees on behalf of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar during a review meeting, an official release said.
According to a complaint received on the public grievance portal, mechanic Vijay Pal and blacksmith Pradeep Kumar were working in the Karnal depot. The complainant alleged that the matriculation marksheets of these employees were fake, the release said.
Instructions were given by the chief minister to check the Class X certificates of these two employees. The certificates were apparently found to be fake, following which the chief minister directed their dismissal, it added.
