Ludhiana (Punjab) [India], September 1 (ANI): The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) increased the toll tax on Friday, due to which new rates have been implemented at Ladowal toll plaza located on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway.

Ladowal Toll Plaza Manager Gaurav Kwatra said, “The new rates have come into effect from today with an increase of about 10 per cent, which will remain in effect till August 31 next year.”

He further said, “The National Highway Authority of India increases toll rates every year. Under this, now on a single journey you will have to pay Rs 165 for car, Rs 285 for minibus, Rs 575 for bus and truck and Rs 925 for big vehicles.”

However, there is no change in the monthly pass rates. (ANI)
