Hyderabad, Aug 18 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would meet district Collectors on Tuesday to elicit their views on the proposed new Revenue Act.

Against the backdrop of bringing in a new Revenue Act, the Chief Minister wants to take the views, opinions and suggestions from the district collectors, who have direct experience about the land management at the ground level, a release from the chief minister's office said.

The meeting would comprehensively discuss formulating guidelines for the new Revenue Act for the benefit of farmers and others and to eliminate corruption, it said.

The meeting would also discuss the implementation of the new Panchayat Raj and Municipal Act and also the proposed 60-days action plan to transform villages into clean and green, it added.
