Coordinated Threats in Ahmedabad

Simultaneously, at least seven private schools in western Ahmedabad reported receiving identical threat emails. Affected institutions include St. Xavier’s (Loyola), St. Kabir, DPS Bopal, and Calorex School.

Ahmedabad’s Crime Branch and forensic departments launched an investigation as soon as the administrators alerted the police. Much like in Noida, the schools were evacuated to ensure student safety while security personnel scanned classrooms and offices for suspicious objects.

Noida Police have confirmed that the situation is currently under control and have urged the public to remain calm and avoid spreading rumors. "Senior officers and multiple security teams are on-site carrying out inspections. Investigators are looking into whether the emails were sent using Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to mask the sender's identity. Authorities are treating the matter with high priority given the proximity to Republic Day on January 26, a period during which security is traditionally tightened across the country.

This incident follows a pattern of similar hoax threats that have targeted educational institutions in Delhi-NCR over the past year. In December 2025, a wave of threat emails caused widespread panic across schools in the capital region, all of which were eventually declared hoaxes by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

While today's threats appear to follow a similar "mass email" format, security agencies maintain that every alert is treated as a real danger until a complete sweep of the premises is finished.
