The Congress and NCP together have won 25 seats, while the Shiv Sena is close behind with 22 seats. The BJP bagged 14 seats, while seven seats went to other parties or independents.

The BJP and Shiv Sena are leading on 19 seats each in Ahmednagar municipal corporation, while the alliance of Congress and NCP is ahead on 18 seats.

The BJP is leading on 26 out of 68 seats of Ahmednagar municipal corporation, while the Shiv Sena is ahead on 12 seats. The alliance of Congress and NCP has secured a lead on 10 seats. Raj Thackeray's MNS is leading on one seat. 

The BJP is leading in 16 wards of Ahmednagar municipal corporation election, while the alliance of Congress and NCP is ahead in 10 wards. Shiv Sena is leading in nine wards.

Three NCP candidates are leading in ward number 14 of Ahmednagar municipal corporation. One of the leading candidates is Sheetal Jagtap, wife of NCP MLA Sangram Jagtap.

The BJP candidates are ahead in 15 wards of Ahmednagar municipal corporation election. The alliance of Congress and NCP has secured a lead in eight wards. Shiv Sena is leading in five wards.

Mumbai, December 11: The result of the Ahmednagar municipal corporation (AMC) election 2018 will be declared today. Counting of votes to elect 68 members of Ahmednagar Mahanagar Palika in Maharashtra will begin at 10 am. The Ahmednagar municipal corporation election saw a triangular contest between the Shiv Sena, BJP and Congress-NCP alliance. Polling to elect 68 members of Ahmednagar municipal corporation was held on Sunday. Around 67 per cent registered voters exercised their franchise in Ahmednagar Mahanagar Palika Chunav. A total of 339 candidates are in the fray for 68 seats of the civic body. The Congress and NCP contested the election in an alliance and together fielded 64 candidates - 44 of NCP and 20 of Congress. Dhule, Ahmednagar Civic Polls Register 67% and 60% Voting Respectively.

While the BJP fielded a maximum of 67 candidates, Shiv Sena declared candidates on 60 seats. In Ahmednagar municipal corporation, 18 of the 68 member-civic body belong to the NCP, 11 Congress, nine BJP, 17 Shiv Sena, four MNS and nine independents. The result of Ahmednagar Mahanagar Palika Chunav will determine the political future of Congress leaders Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Balasaheb Thorat and Satyajit Tambe.
