Steven Gerrard Named New Aston Villa Head Coach
The former Rangers boss replaced Dean Smith, who was sacked from the head coach's role following a string of defeats. Aston Villa currently are placed 16th on the Premier League 2021-22 points table, just two points clear of relegation zone.
Steven Gerrard on Thursday, was announced as the new head coach of Aston Villa. The Premier League club took to social media to make this announcement. Gerrard won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers last season.
