Elected to bowl first India Women's U19 side picked wickets very early in the innings putting pressure on the opposition. Bangladesh captain Sumaiya Akhter led her side to a respectable 64 runs total. Vsaishnavi Sharma picked up three wickets while the Indian side was helped by a couple of run-outs. But, an explosive batting performance from Gongadi Trisha who scored 40 runs handed India a comprehensive eight-wicket win over Bangladesh. India, topping the group 1 of the Super Six qualifies for the semifinal. Â
Captain Niki Prasad came to bat after Gongadi Trosha got out in the closing moments of the run chase. the Captain smashed a boundary to finish the game and seal victory for the Indian side. Â
Fifty up for India! it took just six overs to reach the 50-run mark for India. With just 15 needed from 14 overs the side is in complete control at the moment. Gongadi Trisha and Sanika Chalke have dismantled the opposition with two-three boundaries in an over. Â

Vaishnavi Sharma not only broke the partnership between Sumaiya Akhter and Jannatul Maoua but dismissed both set batters. This puts India back into the during seat in the game and can now hope to restrict the opposition below 75 runs.
A good recovery from the Bangladesh side as captain Sumaiya Akhter and Jannatul Maoua formed a 23-run partnership handing a side to get to a respectable total. But with strong batting lineup, India wont mind a targer close to 100.
