Panaji (Goa) [India], August 30 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan on Wednesday.

He celebrated the festival with Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, women and school students.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he posted, "Celebrated #RakshaBandhan with BJP Goa Mahila Morcha Karyakartas, Students of Sanjay School & Aastha’s Anand Niketan Special School. May this relationship grow stronger and expand more to continue to serve the people of Goa.”

Every year in India, the festival of Raksha Bandhan is observed to celebrate the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters, which is commemorated by sisters who tie Rakhi to their sibling's wrist.
