Tanker carrying methanolKotputli (Rajasthan) [India], July 11 (ANI): A tanker carrying methanol overturned on the Kotputli-Ambala highway.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vaibhav Sharma said that the tanker overturned after one of the tyres burst and the driver and conductor suffered minor injuries.

"A tanker carrying methanol overturned on the highway. The driver informed that one of the tyres had burst. Gas is leaking from the spot. Precautionary measures are being taken, and traffic has been stopped on both sides... The driver and conductor have suffered minor injuries. Everyone else is safe..." Sharma told ANI.

He further said that fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. (ANI)
