Shahjahanpur (UP), Sep 25 (PTI) Three persons died when their motorcycle collided head-on with an unknown vehicle here on Monday, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police (rural) Sanjeev Bajpai said Rohit Kumar (21) along with two others were travelling on a motorbike on the Lucknow-Delhi national highway when an unknown vehicle collided head-on with them.

Two persons, including Kumar died on the spot, while the third person succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, police said.

Bajpai said that efforts are on to identify the other two persons. He added that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
