Washington DC, [USA] July 10 (ANI): Disney has pushed back the release of action-adventure film 'Indiana Jones 5' to July 9, 2021.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the move was expected since the script is being redone.

Jonathan Kasdan, the son of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' scripter Lawrence Kasdan, will be the new writer for Steven Spielberg directed next Indiana Jones project.

The production house has pushed back the release dates of other movies. Dwayne Johnson-starrer Jungle Cruise is now slated to release on October 11, 2019. While Angelina Jolie starrer 'Maleficent 2' will release on May 29, 2020.

Also, the Wreck-It Ralph sequel- 'Ralph Breaks the Internet', an animated film will release on November 21, 2018.(ANI)
