Vadodara, Aug 29 (PTI) A lion cub, around six to eight months old, was found dead inDevaliya range of Gir forest in Gujarat on Thursday, a senior official said.

D T Vasavda, chief conservator of forests, Junagadh wildlife circle, said the cub was found by a field staff.

The cause of death would be known only after an autopsy is conducted, he said.
