Mathura Jul 19 (PTI) Lawyers today staged a protest demanding speedy investigation into the attack on a advocate's father here.

Rohtan Singh, the father of advocate Rahul, was shot at on July 12 and is currently battling for life at a hospital here, Santosh Sharma, President of Mathura Bar Association said.

The protesters claimed that the though the police was delaying the arrest of the accused.

“The accused will not be spared and they will be nabbed soon,” the SSP Babloo Kumar said.

Sharma said Kumar assured the protesters that there will be a transparent investigation and it will be expedited.
