Chennai, Jul 30 (PTI): Railways cueist Peter Paul quelled a mid-match fightback from Hari Prabhu (Cue Zone) 58-47, 57-7, 40-72, 42-58, 67-30 in a round of 64 match in the Q-Lounge All-India open snooker championship 2019 here Tuesday.

Paul raced away to a two frames to nil lead before Prabhu recovered ground and levelled the match.

The Railways player then played in a solid manner to seal the decider.

In another match, Dyan of Cue Zone upset higher ranked Sagar Jain of Nellore by three frames to two.

Dyan (Cue Zone) beat Sagar Jain (Nellore) 3-2 (61-30, 31-45, 49-71, 64-23, 60-06); Peter Paul (RSPB) beat Hari Prabhu (Cue Zone) 3-2 (58-47, 57-7, 40-72, 42-58, 67-30); Prabhu (Gymkhana) beat Yasar (Q-Ball city) 3-1 (31-18, 61-18, 63-03, 80-22).
