Typhoon Ampil in China: Over 2,60,000 People Affected Due to Torrential Rains, Thousands Relocated
Ampil, the 10th typhoon this year, has wreaked havoc in China after it made a landfall in Shanghai earlier this week. According to reports by Chinese news agency ecns.cn, over 2,60,000 people have been affected by incessant rains. Moreover, about 31,600 hectares of crops in east China’s Shandong Province have been affected by heavy rainfall triggered by Ampil.
