New Delhi, November 27: OLX on Monday in a bid to increase its offline presence announced an expansion of its used car business with a plan to set up 150 outlets across India by 2021. Currently, the company, is running a pilot in six cities with around 30 outlets, has joined hands with Germany-based Frontier Car Group (FCG) to launch its used car selling stores called ‘Cash My Car’. Boyfriend on Sale? OLX claims to have an overall market share of 77 per cent in the used car segments in India. Currently, 27 OLX Cash My Car stores are operational in Delhi, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune.

“In the last decade, OLX has changed the way users sell their pre-owned cars through classifieds. Having built both depth and width in this segment, and profound customer understanding, we are now providing users another choice and touch point with this new initiative" said Amit Kumar, VP, OLX India who is heading the OLX Cash My Car operation.

What is OLX Cash My Car?

OLX Cash My Car is an end-to-end hassle free service for users and is defined by convenience, speed and trust. If a user wants to sell his car he can visit a nearby Cash My Car store and request a free inspection. An authorized vehicle inspection agent will physically inspect the vehicle and documentation. On the basis of inspection, the car will be auctioned online to Cash My Car channel partners and the best price is offered to the car owner.

OLX has reported that the entire process takes less than 45 minutes and offers a convenience experience to users will all the paperwork being handled by OLX for free.
