BCCI To Groom KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant As Future Captains Under Rohit Sharma
Earlier, the BCCI named its squads for the Sri Lanka series and as was expected, Rohit Sharma was chosen to be the new Test captain after Virat Kohli relinquished that role last month.
BCCI chairman of selectors Chetan Sharma said that they would groom KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah as future captains under Rohit Sharma. This comes after Rohit was named India's new Test skipper.
