New Delhi, August 12: Apple has reportedly rolled out iOS 26 Beta 6 with improvements to the Liquid Glass UI, new ringtones, and more. The update apparently offers improved stability, indicating that Apple is likely preparing for the iOS 26 launch with the iPhone 17 series in September. As per reports, Apple has rolled out the sixth developer beta of iOS 26 on Tuesday, alongside updates for Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPad, Mac, and other devices.

Throughout the beta testing phase, Apple appears to be adjusting various design aspects of ‌iOS 26‌ to refine the Liquid Glass UI ahead of its release. Multiple reports indicate that the Lock Screen clock has been enhanced with increased transparency and now features a three-dimensional floating appearance to match the Liquid Glass look. Apple reportedly faced criticism after altering the way the Camera mode switcher reacts to touch gestures. Many users expressed frustration because the update disrupted their muscle memory. The change differed from the consistent design used across all other native Apple apps. Responding to the feedback in beta 5, Apple added a new option in Settings. The toggle is said to let its users to revert to "Classic Mode," to restore the Camera app’s behaviour to match that of the other apps once again.
