New Delhi, Sep 24 (PTI) Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Monday said it will commence sale of its Mi LED smart televisions in the offline market in India.

Xiaomi had launched its television in the Indian market earlier this year through online channel and its flagship Mi Home retail outlets. It has sold over half a million TV sets in six months.

"Given the incredible demand, Xiaomi India has decided to expand the channels of availability for these products. Xiaomi customers and Mi Fans can now experience and buy Mi LED Smart TVs in over 500 Mi Preferred Partner stores across nine cities," it said in a statement.

These cities include Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Indore, Patna, Pune, Mumbai and Madurai, it added.
