Tarn Taran (Punjab) [India], May 4 (ANI): Troops recovered a China-made drone in broken condition from a harvesting field in Tarn Taran district on Friday, Border Security Force (BSF) said.
"On May 3, at about 03:30 pm, while deployed on the border fence gate management duty, the vigilant BSF troops heard a crushing sound from under a tractor moving to farming field ahead of fence for harvesting purpose," BSF officials said in a statement.
The troops immediately stopped the tractor and recovered a drone in broken condition beneath the tyre of the tractor.
This recovery took place in a harvested field adjacent to the village Kalia in the Tarn Taran District.
Taking to 'X' BSF Punjab Frontier posted, "The recovered drone has been identified as China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic."
The alert and dutiful BSF troops once again recovered a drone used in smuggling activities of narcotics from across the border, it said. (ANI)
