Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 9 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi has informed that the scam in recruitment of assistant teachers has been handed over to the STF.
"The entire matter has been handed over to the STF. The examination center is debarred for any future recruitment examinations. Action will be taken against its manager and related staff if found involved," said the Basic Education Minister.
"Police arrested around 11 people following a complaint by a complainant in the assistant teachers' recruitment case," said Satish Chandra Dwivedi.
He informed that this gang used to collaborate with Pancham Lal Ashram Higher Secondary School Prayagraj and help the examinees illegally and make money from them.

Meanwhile Mayawati today demanded a CBI inquiry into the scam relating to the recruitment of 69,000 teachers.
Reacting to this, the Minister said that Mayawati should first look into the inquiry going on against her. (ANI)
