London [UK], May 11 (ANI): Liverpool on Tuesday night kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City after the Reds claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Aston Villa.

With this win, Liverpool are now level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Despite going behind early on, Jurgen Klopp's side triumphed at Villa Park thanks to goals from Joel Matip and Sadio Mane and are now on 86 points having played a match more than City.

All eyes will now be on Man City to see how they respond during their trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night.
