Apart from being a fine actor, Shashank Ketkar is a passionate animal lover. When not busy with his super packed schedule, Shashank loves to spend time with Animals, especially with his pet dog Maggie. But It's a sad Sunday for the Honnar Sunn Me Hya Gharchi famed actor as he has lost Maggie today . Shashank, popularly known as Shree, took to Facebook to share the sadness and the pain he feels after losing the key family member.

The 33 year old words it beautifully to move us. In his post, he mentions how he had brought Maggie home when she was just a 45-day-old tender baby. Ketkar finds it difficult to wrap his head around the loss. The emotional connect he had with his pet is palpable in the post studded with beautiful memories in the form of visuals.

It would be pertinent to note that last year Shashank won the hearts of his fans when he rescued a wounded stray pup from the streets. After providing the necessary medical aid, Ketkar ensured that the baby stays safe. Ketkar is also associated with an NGO that works for street dogs as well as for stray animals.
