President Donald Trump may be the darling of the alt-right in the US of A. But the man certainly does not understand that women are people. It’s 2019 and the head of state of the world’s most powerful country wears his chauvinism on his sleeve with pride. A few days ago, the US prez spoke about conservative commentator Candace Owens’ beauty, adding he’s not “allowed to say it (that she’s beautiful)” due to the “MeToo generation.” He said: “Under the ‘MeToo’ generation we’re not allowed to say it. So all of you young brilliant guys, never, ever call a woman beautiful, please. You’re not allowed to do it. And I’ve kept doing it and I’ve never been told by that woman never to do it.” Sexist, Senseless, Crass: 10 Most Mindless Statements by Indian Politicians.

Trump was speaking at the Young Black Leadership Summit at the White House when he made a comment. We commiserate with him over having to bite his tongue every time he feels the urge to “compliment” a beautiful woman. But this is not the first time Trump made feminists go SMH with his insightful thoughts on women. Donald Trump, Accused of Raping Woman in Dressing Room in Mid-1990s, Dismisses Allegations As ‘Fiction’.

Remember the “Grab em by the p***y” comment? That’s just one among his many gems. He’s such a prolific sexist that there exists a study of Trump’s language titled: “A Critical Discourse Analysis of Donald Trump’s Sexist Ideology.” Here’s a list of some of the most jaw-droppingly sexist comments to escape the US President lips. Brace yourselves.

About Carly Fiorina

Carly Fiorina was Trump’s fellow GOP candidate and he had every reason to run her down. But by judging her for her looks? That’s anything but classy.

“Look at that face! Would anybody vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she is a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really folks, come on. Are we serious?”

About Daughter Ivanka Trump

Trump has repeatedly been commenting about his daughter’s looks and has raised many eyebrows in the past.

"I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her…"

“Yeah, Ivanka is really something and what a beauty that one…"

“If I weren’t happily married and, you know, her father, I will be dating her. My daughter, she’s six feet tall; she’s got the best body.”

To an Apprentice Contestant

Trump betrayed his inherent misogyny and objectification of women when he made this comment to an Apprentice contestant.

“We could say politically correct that look does not matter, but the look obviously matters. Like you would not have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”

About Hillary Clinton

Trump alluded to ex-US president Bill Clinton’s infidelity by making it seem somehow it was wife Hillary’s fault. He also used the B-word to talk about his political opponent. Very classy.

“If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?”

“Hillary is not tough enough to face Russian president Vladimir Putin or ISIS. She is a lying bitch.”

“Hillary needs to be trashed at every opportunity that presents itself! This bitch must be stopped.”

About Rosie O’ Donnell

Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell is one of Trump’s most vocal critics. And Trump didn’t go easy on her either.

“Rosie O’Donnell is disgusting — both inside and out. If you take a look at her, she’s a slob. How does she even get on television? If I were running The View, I’d fire Rosie. I’d look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, ‘Rosie, you’re fired.’ We’re all a little chubby but Rosie’s just worse than most of us. But it’s not the chubbiness — Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out. You take a look at her, she’s a slob. She talks like a, like a truck driver”

About Arianna Huffington

Trump reduced accomplished businesswoman and founder of The Huffington Post Arianna Huffington to only her looks.

“Unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man — he made a good decision.”

About Women in General

At this point, we get it Trump; you hate women. Here some of the choicest words he's used.

“I have seen women manipulate men with just a twitch of their eye-or perhaps another body part. Women have even cheated the devil.”

“Women…. You have to treat them like shit.”

I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

There’s perhaps no head of state in recent times who has had such disregard for propriety. Even as attitudes towards sexism and gender discrimination are changing for the better, it undoubtedly ill behoves the head of the most powerful country in the world to treat women like objects. A generation of men is watching and learning. And whether he likes it or not, he had better watch his tongue.
