In a disturbing incident in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a couple was subjected to harassment and assault by two police officers and an unidentified individual in plain clothes while they were in a park. Shockingly, one of the police officers sexually assaulted the woman, asked for sex, and extorted Rs 10,000 from the victims. After enduring three hours of torment, the couple was eventually released, but not before being forced to pay Rs 1,000 through a digital transaction. The incident, reported on September 28, 2023, prompted swift action by the local police. An FIR was registered at Police Station Kotwali Nagar, and the constable from 112-PRV in Sai Upvan was immediately suspended.
