Century! Impressive striking from David Miller and he will think he should have started attacking a bit earlier. Completes his century in the last ball of the innings but New Zealand won't mind as they secured the win and a place in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final. It will be the repeat of the 2000 final which is the India vs New Zealand final. Sensational performance from Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson for the kiwis. 

David Miller has stayed at one end as a lone warrior and kept fighting through despite wickets falling at the other end. As South Africa fight a lost battle, Miller completes his half-century. 

Out! The chase was over for South Africa and now it is nearing the official end. Kagiso Rabada was landing some good blows but this time he has hit a shorter one from Matt Henry straight into the hands of deep mid-wicket. Out!  Second wicket for Glenn Phillips and New Zealand are just two wickets away to reach the grand finale of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Talking about the wicket, Phillips bowled on the shorter side around the leg-stump. Keshav Maharaj tried a pull shot but only managed to glove it behind. Out! First wicket of the match for Glenn Phillips, and New Zealand are on the verge of reaching the grand finale of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. They are just three wickets away. Marco Jansen departs after scoring three runs. It was a back-of-a-length delivery outside off, which turned in. Marco Jansen shaped to play the reverse sweep but missed and got struck on the front pad. The umpire didn't raise his finger, and New Zealand challenged the decision. Out! Another one bites the dust! Michael Bracewell takes his first wicket of the match, and his 10-over spell is now completed. Wiaan Mulder departs after scoring eight runs off 13 deliveries. It was a length delivery on off-stump, and Mulder went for the slog sweep. However, the Proteas batter didn't time it well, and Rachin Ravindra took an easy catch at the deep square leg region. Out! Aiden Markram departs and South Africa is in big big trouble here. That's a soft dismissal!  Rachin Ravindra's ball turns and grips a bit and perhaps sticks on the surface. Markram checks his punch and ends up lobbing it straight to Ravindra. New Zealand are now way ahead in the game and South Africa will need a miracle. Markram c and b Ravindra 31(29).

Out! The big wicket falls and it is Heinrich Klaasen. New Zealand are elated here and they should be. They got the wicket of the man who could have paced this chase the best. It is Mitchell Santner again who nails the length which is not too short not too full and Klaasen tries to loft it only for Matt Henry to come in and take a good diving coach. Henry looked like have hurt is shoulder during the attempt which will be a worry for Santner and his boys. Klaasen c Matt Henry b Santner 3(7).

Out! Mitchell Santner you beauty. Gets it a little flatter without compromising the revs on it, Rassie van der Dussen defends forward but the ball turns enough to beat the outside edge and clean him up. Work of art there by Santner. Out! The captain gets trapped by Mitchell Santner who has been bowling beautifully. Temba Bavuma walks down the track as he needed to up the ante but Santner foxes him in flight and loopy release. Bavuma miscues it and Kane Williamson grabs a simple catch at point. Santner get the win here. Bavuma c Williamson b Santner 56(71).

Fifty! Another half-century and this time it is from Rassie van der Dussen. Came in under a pressure situation and looked good henceforth. He completed his 17th half-century in ODIs and will look to accelerate from here on taking some risks. 

Fifty! Temba Bavuma stands up to the occasion once again. Started very slow but then accelerated to catch up to the rate and now he looks solid on the crease. He will look to extend the partnership and keep the asking rate under control. Amids that, he completed his half-century. 

Temba Bavuma has stepped on the accelerator after starting slow. Rassie van der Dussen has joined him and despite losing Ryan Rickelton early South Africa has stayed ahead of the asking rate and stitched a solid partnership here. 

Out! The pressure of Temba Bavuma starting slow on the other end gets big on Ryan Rickelton. Matt Henry uses a change of pace and Rickelton mistimes it in the hands of short cover. Huge wicket for New Zealand in the big chase and they are thrilled. Rickelton c Michael Bracewell b Matt Henry 17(12).

Glenn Phillips missed on his half-century for just one run but he has done the damage here. By the start of the last ten overs it looked like that New Zealand were struggling to get a finish but Phillips went berserk in the final few overs powering New Zealand to a strong total. They will be happy with the score but given the nature of the pitch, South Africa will consider themselves to be alive here before the chase. 

Out! Daryl Mitchell gets holed out at the deep trying to go big. After a big over Glenn Phillips managed to get from Marco Jansen, Mitchell tried to do the same to Lungi Ngidi but the cutter gripped and Mitchell miscued it to the deep mid wicket. New Zealand still need some big hits at the end. Mitchell c Rabada b Ngidi 49(37).

It has been a struggle for New Zealand after Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson has been dismissed. The older ball has been difficult to get away. As the innings approached the last five overs both the set batters Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell has looked to tee off trying to give NZ a strong finish. 

Out! New Zealand are losing momentum here. After Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson, the run rate dropped and now Tom Latham perishes trying to be innovative. Goes for the ramp shot and ends up moving too across. Kagiso Rabada cleans him up and South Africa are clawing their way in the game. Latham b Rabada 4(5).

Out! Another one departs after scoring a century. Tries to go for a ramp again but this time it didn't have the pace and angle. Kane Williamson just lobs to the fielder and short fine leg and a brilliant innings comes to an end. Hundred! Kane Williamson has remained shadowed by Rachin Ravindra's flamboyant strokeplay but the way he has accelerated after getting set has been phenomenal. Played strokes all around the ground and brings up his 15tjh ODI century. It has been a poetic justice that the century came through a ramp shot boundary.
