The World Health Organisation has busted a myth that has been doing the rounds on social media platforms that suggests drinking alcohol could help you be immune to coronavirus. The WHO has said that this information has no scientific basis and infact increased alcohol consumption is unhealthy for the body. It has also warned against smoking as tobacco harms the lungs which then become susceptible to contracting COVID-19 infection.
