Agartala (Tripura) [India], September 12 (ANI): Following an appeal by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha a blood donation camp was organised at the Agartala Government Medical College here on Tuesday.

Members from religious, social, and political organizations came forward to donate blood.

The blood donation camp was organised at the well-known hospital of the state where a significant number of blood units are expected to be received.

Chief Minister Manik Saha said, "In the state, blood donation camps have become a kind of festival as all are responding to this appeal to maintain the balance of blood units in 14 blood banks available in the state."

All sections of workers, doctors, and paramedical staff were present to donate blood as well. (ANI)
