Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], June 5 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the demise of Kanwar Shamsher Singh, former Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh, who passed away on Wednesday in Shimla at the age of 80.
The Chief Minister stated that Kanwar Shamsher Singh served the State in various administrative positions and was a dedicated officer widely respected for his understanding of policy issues and action-oriented approach. He added that Kanwar Shamsher Singh's contributions and services will be fondly remembered by the people for years to come.
Taking to X he posted, "Received the sad news of the demise of former Chief Secretary Kanwar Shamsher Singh ji. My deepest condolences to the family. May God give peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this separation. Om peace."
