New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) A sexagenarian woman was allegedly stabbed to death at her home in Dwarka's Bindapur area, police said on Thursday.
The police have managed to track down the family's domestic help and her accomplice who allegedly executed the killing, they said.
The police received information around 2.30 pm on Wednesday regarding the murder of 66-year-old Usha in the Om Vihar area of Bindapur. Based on CCTV footage, it was suspected that the family's maid and her male accomplice committed the crime, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan said.
The murder was executed when Usha was alone at home. After the killing, the maid and her accomplice allegedly decamped with money and jewellery, he said.

During the inquiry, it was found that the victim's family had not conducted a background check of the maid, causing difficulty in finding details about her. Even basic details such as her phone number were not available, Vardhan added.
"However, multiple teams worked effectively to identify both the accused. They were tracked down and detained at Gorakhpur railway station in a late-night operation in coordination with the Uttar Pradesh Police. They are being interrogated in connection with the incident," the senior official added.
A case was registered and the accused maid and her accomplice have been arrested, the police said.
