Guwahati (Assam) [India], October 15 (ANI): Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya called on Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati on Sunday.
After the meeting, the Assam Chief Minister said that he expressed his gratitude to Mandaviya for the latter's unstinted support in making the northeastern state a major healthcare hub.

"Had an excellent conversation with the Hon'ble Union Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya ji. Expressed our gratitude for his unstinted support in our endeavour to make Assam a major healthcare hub," Sarma said in a post on his X handle.
Meanwhile, the office of Mandaviya, said that the Union Health Minister discussed various aspects related to the healthcare sector in the state.
During his visit to Assam, Mandaviya also addressed the students of IIT Guwahati. The minister delivered a lecture under the Amrit Kaal Vimarsh on Viksit Bharat@2047.
He highlighted the role of healthcare in realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047. (ANI)
