Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Apr 27 (ANI): It will open a plethora of opportunities for youths if the Central and the state governments promote Kashmiri art, said Zahid Hussain Beig, the winner of Textile Ministry's national award, on Saturday."The art of Kashmir -- be it paper mache, shawl, or wood carving -- is unique and loved all over the world. If the state and the Central governments provide adequate support encouragement, Kashmiri art will become a good career opportunity for youngsters," he told ANI."After leaving the school, I dedicated myself to the mache art form," said Beig, who had to quit school due to the poor financial condition of his family.
