First Shravan Somwar Vrat Significance and Puja Rituals

The main important days of Shravan are the Sawan Somwar. Mondays are considered the most sacred as they are dedicated to Lord Shiva; hence, during the month of Sawan, devotees offer prayers and observe fasts to please the Lord. On these somwars, devotees observe fasts, perform puja and Abhishekam, and offer milk, honey, bael leaves, and flowers to the deity.
