King Charles III was officially proclaimed UKโ€™s new reigning monarch on Saturday in a first-ever televised proclamation ceremony. Meanwhile, heโ€™s already had a moment that has gone viral. Moments before signing the Accession Proclamation the monarch found himself having to frantically gesture at aides to clear the desk where he was to ink his name on the documents.
