Ohio Man Riddled With Sixty Bullets As Eight Policemen Fire Over 90 Rounds, Bodycam Footage Released

Ohio police have released bodycam footage of a night time chase in Akron which resulted in eight policemen shooting down a black man after he allegedly opened fire at them. The man was identified as Jayland Walker who was shot 60 times as the policemen fired over 90 rounds during the chase. The incident occurred on the night of June 27 and the city chose to release the footage after a week. The footage showed that Walker was not carrying a firearm when he ran away from his car but police say a pistol was later found inside it. Protests marked July 4th in Akron as footage of the incident was released.
