New Delhi [India], August 8 (ANI): Rohini District Court on Thursday called for an Action Taken Report (ATR) from an SHO on a complaint filed against him, a senior police officer at the district level and a sub-inspector over non-action in the allegations of cheating of more than Rs one crore.

This matter pertains to Police Station Bharat Nagar in the North West District. The complainant has sought a direction for the registration of the FIR.

Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Apoorv Bhardwaj called an ATR from SHO Bharat Nagar on a complaint filed by one Dharmesh Sharma against Kapil Mehta and others, including the police officials. The matter has been listed on September 30 for a hearing.

The complaint has been moved through advocates Sanjay Sharma and Karan Sachdeva. The complainant has stated that he is in the used car sales business.

He alleged that four people, including one woman, have duped him for more than Rs one crore over a period of time on the pretext of expanding business and profit sharing.

It is also alleged that 4 proposed accused persons are also in the used car sale business in the Ashok Vihar area. He also alleged that the accused persons are neither sharing the profit nor returning the money or the cars they purchased with it.

He also alleged that the accused person has been provided police protection by the senior officer, as he is known to the accused persons and involved in extortion from car dealers in lieu of illegal parking on the roads.

The complainant also informed the police by calling at 112 but no action was taken against the person. Not only this, the accused persons threatened him that he couldn't do anything to them as they were protected by the senior police officer. It is also alleged that all accused persons are acting in a criminal conspiracy with police officers. (ANI)
