New Delhi [India], September 10 (ANI): Professor Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri has been bestowed with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award-Academia'. 

Dr Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, a distinguished Padma Vibhushan awardee, presented the award to Professor Akhtar at an illustrious ceremony held on Friday here, a release said.
