Ram Gopal Varma is venturing in a whole new direction. The man would now be seen acting on the big screen in the movie Cobra. While he has directed some marvellous movies in the past, his fan following in the recent has only decreased, due to the subpar ones he has made. So, at the moment, we are in two minds as to whether to look forward to the acting debut of RGV or run in the opposite direction. But Amitabh Bachchan is a true-blue fan of RGV as he is eagerly looking forward to Cobra. He even tweeted about it and we all know how lucky one has to be to get tweeted by Big B.

Amitabh took his Twitter handle, on his 3136th day on the micro-blogging site, and wrote praised for his friend, Ram Gopal Varma. As we all know, RGV and Amitabh have worked together in many movies, including the successful Sarkar series. Big B wrote, "Ram Gopal Varma .. the 'SARKAR' finds his true vocation .. ACTING !! All the best Sircaarrrrr .. (sic)" Sanju: Disappointed With Rajkumar Hirani's Take on Sanjay Dutt's Life? Now Ram Gopal Varma Wants to Make a True Biopic on Him.

Amitabh also joked - "DAMN .. another competition"! That's cute.

To this, RGV replied: "Sir your praise makes me feel dead because only dead people are praised this much but thank you for your belief in my new 'yatra'."

Abhishek Bachchan, who also has worked in many movies with RGV, tweeted:

While not much about Cobra is known, the poster of the film tweeted by Abhishek and Amitabh reveals a few tidbits. The movie is called 'a biopic of the most dangerous criminal ever'. The poster also features tagline: "If he's arrested half the police department will be thrown into jail." In Cobra, RGV not only plays an intelligence officer called R, but he is also co-producing it. The film also stars KG and Ranga Rao, with rest of the cast and crew yet to be revealed.
